French linen tablecloth with raw edging and a small fray.

French linen is made from flax (linseed) which is a plant that requires considerably less pesticides and fertilisers than other crops. It's also 100% biodegradable.  Linen production is a relatively eco friendly process as it uses very little chemicals.

Linen is new to the range. It's such a lovely rich material. Tactile, natural and always stunning as a table setting.

It's always a personal choice to iron linen. Often the creases and crumples are part of what gives linen its special appeal.  On a table, those creases will even out.  If you do choose to iron simply damp down the fabric with a little water which will making ironing easier and the result will be smooth.

Alternatively you can apply a spray starch.
