Japanese Vintage Medicine Box

This vintage Japanese medicine box features bold red, white and black text on labels adhered to the box. It is unsure if this is over 100 years old (antique) or vintage. The box is made from thick board, has a drawer and metal handle. It is a traditional medicine box. Stunning, unique and very interesting. It is in original condition and is worn given its age but still very sturdy.

This is a traditional Japanese medicine box, a unique social record of time and a collectible item.

It would look perfect on a buffet adding interest, or placed on a small table in a corner adding interest. Other different medicine boxes are available and they would look fabulous as a stack.
