Japanese Vintage Medicine Box

An interesting vintage Japanese medicine box made from wood with labels on the front, top and side. Unsure if this is over 100 years old (antique) or vintage. This wooden box has a drawer with a metal handle. There are two paper sachets inside. 

It is in original condition and is worn given its age but still very sturdy.

This is a unique record of time and definitely a collectible. An interesting piece that would look good on a modern buffet adding interest or simply placed amongst a few other collectibles.

Other different medicine boxes are available and they would look fabulous as a stack.
